TO REPORT E-MAIL, WEB SITES, OR INTERNET BANKING IRREGULARITIES
If you feel you have encountered any suspicious event dealing with e-mail, web sites, or Internet Banking with Citizens National Bank, you are encouraged to contact us immediately by some means other than e-mail. One option for contacting us is by calling
800-228-3485 and ask for assistance with suspected Internet fraud.
When determining if you have encountered Internet fraud, keep in mind that:
CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK WILL NEVER SOLICIT PERSONAL INFORMATION, ACCOUNT INFORMATION, OR OTHER SENSITIVE INFORMATION VIA E-MAIL, INTERNET WEB SITES, INTERNET BANKING FACILITIES or POP-UP WINDOWS.
If you have encountered any such activity that you feel is suspicious, we suggest as a minimum you perform the following steps:
- Save as much documentation as possible regarding your suspicious encounter, in hard copy. It may be of value in researching the situation.
- Contact Citizens National Bank as recommended above.
- Access your Internet Banking account and change your username and password.
It is a good practice to change your Internet Banking password on some regular interval regardless of whether you have encountered suspicious activity or not.

- Monitor your accounts on a regular basis and report any suspicious changes using procedures mentioned above.
