Citizens offers a wide range of maturities on our C.D.'s. Interest rates vary with the amount of the deposit and initial rates are subject to change daily. Check with our Customer Service Representatives for current rates and yields for your deposit. Penalty for early withdrawal. Interest may be 1) added back to the balance of your certificate (this will increase your effective rate of interest), 2) paid by check or 3) deposited to another account at Citizens. Interest is calculated daily and paid or compounded according to the terms of the certificate.*

Minimum Deposit to open is $50.00

Interest is paid on a tiered structure on ledger balance and is credited to the account on each calendar quarter. Inquire with our customer service department for our current rates and yields.

Deposits can be made at any time, but withdrawals can only be made the first seven days after each maturity.

There will be a penalty of one months interest assessed against the account if money is withdrawn at any other time.

In our Christmas - Vacation Club Accounts there are 50 weekly payments. For a Christmas Club, the first weekly payment is due the first week of November and the checks are automatically mailed during the last week of October. You can open a Vacation Club at anytime. When you're ready to go on your "dream" vacation just call the Bank and we'll issue your Vacation Club Check. If you find it more convenient to have your Christmas - Vacation Club payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account, our customer service representative will be happy to assist you with the correct form.

There is a $15 fee for closing the account within the first three months after it is opened.
